Good Morning everyone!! :)
I woke up hungry today! After a long time! hahaha... now this is what hunger actually feels like. So started off my day with my customary bowl of cereal and a cup of warm milk. Trying to avoid the usual cup of coffee. Heard its bad for health and weightloss.
Now, there is this amazing book, "Dont Lose your Mind, Lose your Weight" ... If followed properly, it can do wonders. And it assures no starving. Actually , you eat more than you normally do according to it. Well, obviously you have to burn it too. I have this book with me, and planning to start incorporating some of it too. Kicking the coffee on an empty stomach is the first.
I got this amazing salad recipe yesterday, atleast sounds amazing :) Going to try it out once I go out and get all the ingredients...
Heres the recipe...
Tuscan Salad
mixed greens
yellow capsicum
cucumber
tomato
chopped nuts
chana (chick peas)
flax seeds
dill
mint
feta cheese
baked chicken
For the dressing, you mix equal amounts of balsamic vinegar and olive oil, add a teaspoon of dijon mustard ( optional ) and whisk together.
Check it out people!! Sounds good...Let me know how it turns out... Am now heading out for my walk...:)

hey.. try incorporating oats into your diet. The fiber in it makes sure you dont feel hungry for a longer time same with Apples as well... also why dont you try warm water, lime and honey first thing in the morning... and the Golden Rule of Wt loss no eating after 7 PM
ReplyDeletemaria, i hate oats! :( atleast the oats in milk / water variety. I just heard that you can make upma with it... now thats something i am willing to try. Apples, I do incorporate it in our daily intake. Aniket loves it, so its easy for me :)
ReplyDeleteMost of the days I have my dinner before 7 pm... just yesterday we went out, and then I came back feeling really hungry. :(
The warm water with lime and honey, does it really work? I have tried it before and didnt find any difference...
Hey not sure abt the lime n honey stuff.. but it will not hurt i am sure :) and i quite like it... i find oats work very well... some say dalia (broken wheat) is good as well.. i cant stand that.. so i go with oats.. here is what i do with oats... soak it in hot water and salt for 5 mins drain of the water (not the whole oats the broken oats) and add into what ever salad i make.
